As a mom, I am continuously trying to prepare for the ‘what-ifs’ of life. I want to always be prepared for every situation and hope to be capable of helping my children when and if they need it. I was stunned to learn that accidental deaths, such as drowning and choking, are the number one cause of death in kids of every age.1 and that cardiac arrest is often a result.
