Our schedule has evolved to a state of almost beyond crazy. Running from volleyball, softball, activity, event or practice to another. Why did I think that the schedule would become easier as the kids grew older, I don’t know. However, I do remember naively believing that it somehow became easier.
With this increasingly busy time in our family, I’ve had to become creative at providing snacks and foods for fueling all of this activity. We’ve recently entered into the tween years (that wasn’t even a ‘thing’ when I was young) and they are no longer impressed with my snack ideas from ages ago.
Am I the only one who is finding it a bit difficult to let go of the cute little containers of yesteryear that were stuffed with cracker snacks and cereal? It was, at times, cumbersome to pack and carry all of that. These changes are bittersweet.

The pouch is very easy for me to pack – because, really, what do I have to do other than grab it out of the refrigerator?
