Even though Easter is a bit later this year, it seems as if April and spring have come suddenly. So many activities have already gone by – and now we’re getting ready to enjoy warmer weather and fun celebrations with the kids.
I enjoy gathering items for Easter baskets – it’s such a beautiful and bright time of year. There are so many options and ways of being creative. My favorite thing to do has always been to find new spring and outdoor toys to place in and around our Easter baskets.
I also love being creative with the basket itself. After years of seeing the traditional tiny baskets with oversized handles (that were flimsy no less), it’s been fun finding neat products to use in their place. It’s especially nice when the item used for the basket can be reused throughout the year, instead of hiding out in the storage area for the next 52 weeks.
This year, I’ve found the Hippity Hop Mini Storage Bin from Thirty-One.
It is a great size to use not only for spring and summer toys – but you can save it for use next year while using it year-round. I’m thinking it may be a great item to help organize and carry around sand toys that we enjoy taking to the park with us. Or maybe I’ll use it as the tote to place in our van to hold snacks – because, everyone gets hungry when we’re out running errands!
Or I may use it to organize some of the smaller games that the kids like to keep in our family room. So many wonderful uses for this cute tote!
You can also make this Hippity Hop tote more personal by having your child’s name monogrammed to the back. That’s always a sweet detail to have on something like an Easter basket.
Why you’ll love it:
The perfect catch-all storage bin features fun prints and a cute bunny that’s perfect for spring! Create a special Easter basket or gift basket. Organize clutter in the playroom, kids’ rooms, pantry, laundry room, bathroom, office or closet. Great for craft supplies, toys, pet supplies, party favors, art supplies, beauty products, packaged foods or winter accessories like gloves, hats and scarves. Convenient side handles make each structured fabric bin easy to carry from room to room.
What are you planning to put in your Easter baskets this year? I’d love some new ideas!
