Ingredients
210ozcans of chunk chicken, drained (Or 2 cups of cooked chicken - boiled, drained, and shredded)
28oz8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
3/4cuphot sauce (I love Frank's Red Hot®)
3/4cupRanch dressing
1 1/2cupsshredded Cheddar cheese (Cheddar Jack or Monterey Jack works as well)
1bagtortilla chips
Instructions
If you're using chicken breast - boil approximately 2 chicken breast until cooked thoroughly and then shred.
In skillet or pot, heat chicken and hot sauce over medium heat until thoroughly heated and mixed.
Mix in cream cheese until completely melted
Add and mix in Ranch dressing
Add half of the shredded cheese, mix
Transfer to slow cooker
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top
Cook on low until bubbly
Serve with tortilla chips
Notes
When shredding the chicken, don't shred too much. You'll want it a bit chunky. Too smooth - and it will seem more like a chip dip than a nice chunky, snack.
