In large bowl cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla
In separate bowl sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda
Combine both bowls into one
Fold in chocolate chips
Scoop by the tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet, leaving 2 inches between scoops
Bake 10 minutes* or just until the edges are turning a light brown
Notes
*You can begin looking in through the oven glass at about 8 minutes to see if they are ready to be pulled out. But approximately 9 - 10 minutes should do.
