Best Buffalo Chicken Dip in Slow Cooker
Try this recipe for the Easiest and Best Buffalo Ranch Chicken Dip made in your slow cooker. Great for busy days, parties, game day, and any other activity or event that calls for quick and easily served food.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 (10 oz) cans of chunk chicken, drained
- OR 2 cups of cooked and shredded chicken*
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup hot sauce (I love Frank’s Red Hot®)
- 3/4 cup Ranch dressing
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (Cheddar Jack or Monterey Jack works as well)
- 1 bag of tortilla chips
INSTRUCTIONS:
- If you’re using chicken breast – boil approximately 2 chicken breast until cooked thoroughly and then shred.
- In skillet or pot, heat chicken and hot sauce over medium heat until thoroughly heated and mixed.
- Mix in cream cheese until completely melted
- Add and mix in Ranch dressing
- Add half of the shredded cheese, mix
- Transfer to slow cooker
- Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top
- Cook on low until bubbly
- Serve with tortilla chips

Notes
When shredding the chicken, don't shred too much. You'll want it a bit chunky. Too smooth - and it will seem more like a chip dip than a nice chunky, snack.
