Bicycles

Biking in Nantucket is the most incredible way to see this beautiful island off the coast of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. One of the greatest ways to explore the island is by bicycle. It is both ecologically friendly and the most practical mode of transportation. You may bring your bicycle or rent one from one of the many rental businesses. On the island, there are roughly 56 kilometers of bike trails. There are three major bike trails on the island that link Surfside, Siasconset, and Madaket. Young’s Bike Rental can bring a bicycle to your hotel.

Beaches

The best beach there is Surfside, which has beautiful dunes and extensive white beaches. There is a Caf&Eacute on the beach to get snacks.

Jetties Beach, a pleasant bike ride from town, is another option. It has plenty of parking, or you may ride the NRTA shuttle bus throughout the season. The bus arrives directly at the beach-an excellent beach for families with little children. Lifeguards, locker rooms, a playground, bathrooms, showers, a restaurant, and take-out food service are all available (in season). The concession and restrooms are disability accessible, and a vinyl mat running down the center of the beach makes walking down the sand easier. The water is quiet and warm, making it ideal for swimming.
