We had such a fun and relaxing time during our recent trip to Destin, Florida. The highlight of our stay was by far the Silver Shells Resort. Silver Shells – Destin
Situated on a private stretch of beach, Silver Shells Beach Resort and Spa by Wyndham Vacation Rentals is in Destin, Florida and offers easy access to Morgan Sports Center, Indian Bayou Golf Club, and Henderson Beach State Park. Also nearby are Big Kahuna’s Water and Adventure Park and The Track Family Recreation Center.
We loved our stay so much that the kids wanted to just move in. And if you love the beach life, why wouldn’t you just want to stay there? It’s amazing! The kids enjoyed being so near the beach and having their own space – as if they don’t have their own rooms while at home – they were thrilled to each have their very own room with balcony as well as their own personal bathroom.
I also loved the private bedrooms – and the awesomely large bed in the master bedroom. I can see why the kids wanted to stay. It was amazing to have the balcony door open in the evening and just listen to the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach.
With such fantastic accommodations, we opted to have all breakfast meals at the resort as well as a few of our evening meals. The kitchen and the sitting area were beautifully decorated – complete with a balcony that opened up to an amazing and beautiful view of the beach. Bedrooms
Rooms open to balconies or patios. The 280 air-conditioned guestrooms at Silver Shells Beach Resort and Spa by Wyndham Vacation Rentals include washers/dryers and coffee/tea makers. Complimentary wired high-speed Internet access is provided. Televisions are equipped with cable channels and DVD players. Bathrooms offer separate bathtubs and showers with jetted bathtubs and complimentary toiletries. All units have kitchens with stove-tops, full-sized refrigerators/freezers, microwaves, and dishwashers. Additional amenities include irons/ironing boards and ceiling fans.
