One of our favorite local restaurants in Gatlinburg is the Alamo Steakhouse. We will talk about it for months before our trip. We place it at the top of our Gatlinburg To-Do List. In fact, this year we ate at The Alamo before we even checked into our hotel! It was the destination we headed to as we left home.

Nestled by a creek where ducks swim and visitors are invited to relax in the shade while enjoying the beauty of the area – the Alamo Steakhouse is a nice place to take in a relaxing meal after a day of travel or hiking through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The Alamo Steakhouse is known for it’s outstanding steaks, and that’s one of the items we enjoy most. It’s clear why they were voted to have the best steaks in the county! Actually, they’ve been voted that quite often!

We highly recommends trying The Steak when you visit. Yes, it’s called The Steak.

Alamo Steakhouse also provides a menu designed for children – I taste tested the meals our kids tried, very yummy!

The kids enjoyed the Wikki Stix that they are given to create with and enjoy while they waited on their meals. They look forward to these and plan ahead all of the designs that they will build.
