Is your family in need of an exciting night out or an activity for your staycation? Add Main Event to your lineup! Main Event is a family-entertainment center that offers a wide variety of activities that everyone can enjoy. We visited their West Chester, Ohio location and spent hours bowling, playing games, and munching on a variety of delicious foods and snacks. You can find a Main Event Entertainment Center near you by visiting MainEvent.com.
The kids voted the Gravity Ropes as their favorite activity. Have you ever tried a ropes course? To me, they are a little intimidating – but the rest of the family absolutely LOVES to spend as much time as possible conquering the challenges. They would have spent most of the evening climbing if I hadn’t been eager to do a little bowling… and eating!
We had such a fun time competing with each other in bowling while enjoying some very delicious pizza and nachos!
Having younger children, we liked that we were able to set our lane to adjust between having bumpers and not having bumpers based on who’s turn it was to bowl.
After a few rounds of bowling, we spent the rest of our time playing video games. They had my all-time favorite, skee ball! After challenging the kids to a few games – they took the FUNcard and enjoyed all of the video games I usually say ‘no’ to when we pass by an arcade.
The FUNcard: Wondering about that FUNcard? It’s fantastic! As much fun as tokens and coins are – I’m loving that attractions are switching to some sort of card that swipes at each game. This is great for kids who may drop or lose tokens. You can order your FUNcard online or pick one up once you arrive at Main Event.

We suggest that you plan to stay for a while! After several hours, we had to head on out due to our schedule – but the kids could have spent another hour or two there enjoying the video games, laser tag and Gravity Ropes. Once you’re finished playing games, remember to stop by Winner’s Choice to collect your prizes in exchange for all of the tickets you’ve been winning!
If your kids are getting a bit too old for other indoor entertainment and party venues – Main Event would be a great option as it caters to a variety of ages and… events! In fact, it would be a fun place to have a girl’s/guy’s night out, corporate events, get-togethers, group and youth events as well as birthday parties for all ages.
If you love Main Event or are eager for that first visit – try Main Event for FREE fun on October 10th for National Head for Fun Day!
