I’m MacKayla! I’m a mother of two; Olivia (age 4) & Devin (age 3). I’m happily & forever taken by Garry, the man that stole my heart! Together, we live on the island of Oahu, Hawaii as a family of 4. He is active in the US Space Force (previously US Army) & so we are on a new adventure!

I’m from Northern Indiana but I’ve been in Hawaii for a year. I used to work in healthcare & I absolutely loved it, but after I moved to Hawaii, my working experience wasn’t so hot. I was desperate to figure something out because I needed to work, stay busy, & enjoy what I was doing; I started a real estate course. I’m in the process of getting licensed as a Hawaii Real Estate agent & I’m so excited about it, however, that wasn’t going to make me money for awhile.
I started marketing myself as a lifestyle influencer on Instagram & Facebook, hoping I could figure out how all of these influencers were making money on their social media and after some hard work & dedication, I figured it out! I have been doing it for a two months and have earned thousands of dollars in cash & product, and I am beyond proud of myself for growing my brand!

Prior to meeting Garry, I was in a very unhealthy relationship. Many women were reaching out to me for advice on how to leave their own toxic relationships, how I was handling the children, how I made the move to Hawaii, etc. In that moment, I knew I wanted to be able to educate people everywhere on the importance of self-love, mental health, relationships, & more so I started I Deserve It, my podcast!
