So, I hate to admit it – but when preparing my children’s room, a great mattress was never at the top of my list. In fact, it wasn’t anywhere on my list.

Why? I guess I had never really thought about it. I just — always slept on just any mattress. Whether it was my childhood bed (and then my waterbed, because 80’s – baby) or the bed that came with my college dorm room (oh man!).

Even when we first purchased a bed and mattress for our first home – they were just items to tick off a list.

Well, that’s what I thought until the husband researched and ordered a new mattress and frame for us a few years ago. At that time, we handed down our mattress and frame to our daughter. I thought we were doing a nice thing. She was getting to go from her bunkbeds to a larger queen-sized frame and mattress.

But then, I had to sleep in her “new” bed one night! I hadn’t realized how uncomfortable our old mattress was – or even how nice our new mattress was – until that night. Then I recalled how uncomfortable her bunkbeds were. Yes, mama spent a night or two in there with her.

This very quickly became a hot topic in the house. Did we have the best children’s mattresses? Probably not.

In researching the answer to this question – I even traded my bed with the son for a night so that I could see how great his mattress was. I felt like Goldilocks and had definitely found the most uncomfortable bed in the house.

So, now on to the next question – where could we find the best children’s mattress?

In my deep dive for the best night’s sleep I can give the kids, I’ve found the Nolah Nuture 10″. I love how it’s made with natural Talalay latex and comes wrapped in a GOTS-certified organic cotton cover. It also offers two-sided flippable firmness, and you can add a 10-year product protection plan for only $0.01.

What’s even better, we can try it risk-free for 120 Nights! I will definitely participate in this trying of the mattress project!

Trial Period Explained in Their Own Words:

Any new mattress has a break-in period (adjustment period) and your body needs time to adjust to the better feel, but no worries this is completely normal and referred to as “adjustment period”.

If after the initial 30 nights you don’t love Nolah, we’ll send a driver to pick it up for FREE and donate your mattress to a local charity or recycling program and give you a FULL REFUND.

Don’t you just love that! It helps me to feel much more relaxed about testing this for the kids. That is definitely my biggest worry when ordering a mattress online — will we like it and will it work how we need it to?

And even though the Nolah Mattress is made for kids – it’s available in twin mattress, Twin XL and full size mattress. So that makes it perfect for if each of our kids would like to have one!

Have you tried a Nolah Mattress? I would LOVE to hear your thoughts and experience!
